Bideford Folk Festival in beautiful North Devon takes place in the historic port town on the banks of the Torridge River. Bideford is the perfect place for a holiday and to enjoy a week long music festival of music song and dance and within reach of fabulous Euro - clean sea and sandy beaches and attractions for those who want to combine music with a relaxing holiday.The festival has become a feast of song, music and dance.
With many venues in and around the centre of Bideford and at Edgehill College, there are concerts, sessions, dances and workshops with plenty of opportunity for musicians and singers to join in; and for audiences to sit and listen and soak up the atmosphere. We have a fabulous line up of artistes and genres of music, covering the traditional to contemporary, there's something for everyone. We are grateful for the support we get from Bideford Town Council, Torridge District Council, local sponsors, businesses and musicians and of course all the visiting singers, musicians and dancers who add to the spirit and enjoyment of the festival and of course many thanks to all those wonderful volunteers who make the festival possible.
Bideford Folk Festival took place 11-17th August, a wonderful week of music, song and dance; with some superb performances and lots of lovely people creating a wonderful atmosphere. Even the weather could not dampen their spirits. Thank you.

The stages are down, the chairs stacked and the signs have disapeared. It all looks strangely empty. But before normality settles on us again............
To EVERYONE who volunteered, stewarded, mucked in, helped out and was just there when needed at this year's Bideford Folk Festival a very big 'thank you'. Volunteers are such an important part of the festival because; No Volunteers = No Festival. So thanks once again, you were superb.
