Local performers are also offering workshops
Garry Thompson Oggle Band star Garry is doing a Country Dance workshop for families. Yes that is; Mum, Dad and the Kids up at the Edgehill Hall and it's free. Should be a great afternoon's fun and a chance for the children to see Mum and Dad in action.
Sue White - Solo Singing for Beginners Local singer Sue White is running a series of workshops for people who have seldom, if ever, sung on their own in public. Do come to all four sessions if you can (but don’t worry if you can’t). Lots of tips and ideas and things to try out – but most important of all there’ll be space for you to have a go, so bring along some words if you need them.

Local songwriter Andy Knight is giving a beginners songwriting workshop of interest to anyone who would like to write songs but is not sure where to start. If you are someone who has said 'I could never write a song'; well Andy likes a challenge. He is passionate about songwriting.

Tony Dixon will be giving a whistle workshop for beginners. As an internationally known whistle maker and leader of Irish bands with great musicality this workshop is sure toi be rich in the basics and techniques of whistle playing. The workshop is open to all.
